COVID-19 UPDATE

We remain open to assist our customers as safely and efficiently as possible.

The spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) is on all of our minds and in the news.  We would like to reassure you that VIP Mazda has been monitoring the situation closely to ensure we can meet the ongoing needs of our customers.  Our goal is to continue to provide a safe and welcoming environment with the protection of our staff and guests.

VIP Mazda has always had procedures in place to protect the health of our employees and customers.  We have enhanced these safety procedures with the COVID-19 concerns.  We have informed our employees of ways to prevent the propagation of such a virus and have strict procedures in place to support these systems.

Parts, Sales and Service Departments are all functioning in a manner that encouages as little physical contact as possible for your safety and ours. Please contact a team member before your visit if you have nay questions or concerns.

Sanitization Plan – We have further enhanced our sanitization of all touch points in all areas within the dealership.  All doors, railings, bathrooms and other touch points are being continuously sanitized during the day.

Service Courtesy Vehicles – All hard and soft surfaces inside these vehicles are wiped down after a guest or employee uses a vehicle.

Service Work Preparation – Technicians are required to wear disposable gloves when working on vehicles and we have temporarily eliminated inside vacuums so that we reduce the number of interior contacts for each vehicle.

Sanitizer locations – Hand sanitizer dispensers are located in all areas around the dealership.

Test Drives – All hard surfaces and door handles are wiped down after a guest or employee uses a vehicle.  Our sales staff will no longer accompany guests during test drives to encourage social distancing.

Hand etiquette – At the recommendation of the Minister of Health for BC, we have also asked all of our team to refrain from shaking hands so please do not be offended.  We will happily wave, bow or curtsy in lieu!

Travel Restriction – We have cancelled all travel, business meetings and have postponed any meetings that were to have occurred at VIP Mazda.

Our team has been amazing during these challenging times and have embraced wholeheartedly the precautions that we have implemented and our team is very happy to continue to provide the service and sales that you want or need and will continue to do so in the safest possible manner.
